Mary Jones enlisted Telegrafik to create a brand identity, packaging and website for the Mary Jones launch, embracing the much-loved Jones Soda look and ethos with a slightly naughty cannabis twist. The agency was also challenged to reimagine the Mary Jones line beyond just the familiar clear soda bottle form factor to include 100mg canned soda, 1,000mg syrup tincture, and soda-shaped gummies.
Telegrafik led the reboot for this iconic brand nationally, with logo design, packaging, website and advertising all launching simultaneously. The new branding “cannified” the Jones look while preserving some key elements from the original soda label. The Mary Jones 10mg soda label retained its hallmark customer-submitted black-and-white photos, while the 100mg 16oz can features a silver mirror with the line, “Objects in mirror are higher than they appear.” The website captures the edgy feel and DIY ethos with a customizable t-shirt shop and photo submission gallery.
